Congratulations to Voices of U.S. who celebrated their 1st Anniversary this September! Parnell Barmer, Day Options Director, at Mid-Atlantic Human Service Corporation (a division of IPPI) established the self-advocacy group to provide members with disabilities a chance to network with community members and local politicians so that their voices are heard. Lots of laughter and stories were shared and an award of appreciation was presented to Parnell for his outstanding efforts in the success of Voices of U.S.!
