#CHALKWALK 2016 Foster Care Awareness Walk

Our Permanency Services – Foster Care program in Connecticut will be assisting and participating in the FAKCT (Foster, Adoptive & Kinship Coalition Team) ChalkWalk April 30^th at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT. This is a 5K walk to raise awareness about the need for foster homes in Connecticut. During the walk, participants will read powerful statements from kids in care and will have an opportunity to leave a message of encouragement on the #ChalkWalk wall. Foster care agencies will be available to speak about opportunities to help. You can change the life of a youth in foster care. Help us raise awareness about the kids who still need homes; and celebrate the amazing families who foster, adopt or provide kinship care!
